For as long as I can remember, I've always loved Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins. That lemony flavour, paired with poppy seeds, is hard to resist. I wanted to create a healthy version that I wouldn't have to avoid eating. These are made with whole grains, good fat and they don't contain anything artificial. I think these come pretty close in flavour to the refined version and the lemon glaze is just so good! I don't often have smoothies in the winter but the ginger in this blend adds that warming touch our bodies need on cold days. Eating ginger is a great way to boost your immune system, which is especially important during this time of year. As of recent, I've been seeing turmeric all over my IG feed, and I decided that I could use more of it in my diet.
